UNDER 15 & 17 TURF
At this age group the games become more serious.
Players will focus on their preferred strength and continue all round development.
Players take on more responsibility for the game.
Players or families will be required to supporting the covers being applied to their home ground wicket on a
Saturday afternoon, if rain is forecast, to give the best opportunity for play on the Sunday.

Playing Format
Turf Pitch
A maximum of 11 players on the field; 12 players on the team
A 156gm cricket ball;
Mixed Competition of T20 and two-day matches;
20m standard length turf cricket pitch
Maximum 50m length boundary

Fees
Season Registration for Junior Turf players is $235.00
A Family Member Discount will apply for 2nd and every subsequent child from the same family playing in the Junior Competition at Murrumbeena Cricket Club. We offer a 10% discount.
A compulsory Cricket Australia fee of $16.00 per player will also be applied automatically when you register on PlayHQ.
Please contact us if you need financial support to register your child at the club and we will consider each case in a sensitive and confidential manner.

Uniform
MCC playing shirts are available but not compulsory.

Team Formation
Team allocations will be finalised in consultation with the appointed Coaches, Coaches Coordinator and Junior Coordinator according to the need to address squad balance in terms of numbers and capability.
